Here are a few things going on the weekend that you may find of interest.
So many of us live in the area for years and never fully appreciate the rich history. If you have never been to the Pearl Buck House I strongly recommend it. I went and took the tour about two years ago. My niece was having her wedding there and one Saturday we went over to check out the venue and take the tour. The program is called STORIES FROM THE PEARL S. BUCK HOUSE: LIVES TOUCHED BY THE LEGACY OF PEARL S. BUCK. It runs from March till early November. The tour times are Tuesday-Saturday: 11 am, 1 pm, & 2 pm.; On Sunday 1 pm & 2 pm. It is sponsored by Pearl S. Buck International.
Location: Pearl S. Buck House, 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, PA

You really can’t talk about the history of Bucks County without talking about Oscar Hammerstein. What a fitting way for the Bucks County Playhouse to re-open! The music of Rogers and Hammerstein is brought to life with A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING running till 7/29/12
