Well, we are back. We spent the last 8 days in Florida. First 4 in Key West and the next 4 in Miami.  Good God it’s hot in Florida in the summer. The humidity is enough to make you feel like you are in a sauna and the control knob is stuck on high.  Thirty seconds in the sun could melt the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz.  Dorothy just needed send her to Florida, no need for fire and all that nasty stuff. Why then you say, take a trip to Florida in the summer? Simple, sort of, my daughters brother-in-law was getting married in Key West and we went down to watch the kids during the rehearsal dinner and latter part of the reception. I liked Key West.  No, we didn’t get a “Cheeseburger in Paradise” but we did have some great seafood and marvelous cocktails. The people were laid back and friendly.  The street musicians were a hoot and there are some really cool historical sites to take in.  Then off to Miami (geriatric duties southern edition) to visit my 93-year-old father in law. He had a chore list ready for my hubby.  More on that tomorrow. Now we are home – my dog sitter decided to “help” and weed my garden.  Unfortunately she doesn’t know a weed from a herb!  So as you can see I have lots to B _ _ _ _, oh I mean, blog about.  I have enough material for at least of week of B _ _ _ _ Fest, excuse me, Blog Fest.
