We are fortunate to have quite a few venues in the area for music, theater. Here are just a few pared with some restaurants you may like.
In Glenside you find the Keswick Theatre. Medium size venue with lots of character. Check out what’s coming up there at: http://www.keswicktheatre.com/
A hop, skip and a jump from Glenside you find Our Family Cafe in Jenkintown. This is a sweet little restaurant that features very good food and friendly service in a casual atmosphere. See the review and more information at: http://www.yelp.com/biz/our-family-cafe-jenkintown
Sellersville Theater has a great variety of music, theater and comedy. They are a smaller venue and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The Washington House is the restaurant next door. You can visit both sites at: http://www.st94.com/
Doylestown has lots of good restaurants. MOM’s is one of our favorites. My husband can get his fried chicken and I can get a great salad. They have entertainment upstairs. More information at: https://www.momsmaxwellsonmain.com/
Last week we were walking around Doylestown enjoying the First Friday activity. We stopped in the Zen Den. It is tucked back in the alley behind Bobby Simone’s and Trompa. What a lovely little place! They have a wide variety of coffee and tea as well as protein shakes, salads, sandwiches, desserts etc. We sat and had a cup of decaf coffee and enjoyed the music. The intimate atmosphere makes this a great place to relax after a long week. Their menu and performance calendar are on the web site at: http://zendencoffee.com/
Have a good weekend!
The Zen Den is a sweet little spot. I will be playing there tonight from 6:30-9:30pm. Stop in if you are in town. tina margot
