When I first started dating my husband I became completely enamored with his then 7 year old grandson. Today that sweet, blond haired little boy is turning 21. I’m not sure where the time went.  It seems like yesterday that I was giving this adorable little guy piggy back rides and now he’s 21! How can that be? I’m sure that just last week I was a hell of a lot younger than the person I saw in the mirror this morning.  In the blink of an eye one grandchild grew up and we have been blessed with 3 more ranging from 2 months to almost 7.  I want to step back, breathe and relish the moment.  It will be gone all too quickly. I want to appreciate all the little things and all the people in my life. I want to take a snapshot of this slice of life today and tuck it away with my treasures. So happy birthday Avery. And I mean happy birthday in every sense of the word.  BE happy. BE the best you can be.  Live life to the fullest by using all the gifts that God gave you to be the best human being you can be. Fill your scrapbook with snapshots of life that you can be proud of.
