I’m looking out my window on this lazy, rainy morning. The lawn and garden are a sea of emerald green beneath the overcast sky. Starbursts of purple kiss the fence as the clematis slowly blooms. The first peeks of gold and orange are heralding the fragrant blooms of the lilies. Flowers elsewhere have been blooming for a while now but here, on the north side of the hill, it takes a bit longer. That’s ok, I don’t want to rush the time or the season. I want to sit with a second cup of coffee and enjoy the beauty of my surroundings.
