Gota Love Sunday Brunch – Doylestown Restaurant Review

We have a new favorite place for Sunday Brunch. MOM’s (Maxwell’s on Main) serves brunch on Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm and it’s really good. One of my guilty pleasures is Eggs Benedict. MOM’s has 3 different takes on the classic. My personal favorite is Eggs Algiers. Instead of Canadian Bacon it has fried green tomatoes, and crawfish hollandaise. It is served with a side salad. My husband has had the Bananas Foster French Toast and Shrimp and Grits and enjoyed both very much.

Now if good food isn’t enough to entice you then . . . . there’s live music.

I have never had a meal at MOM’s I didn’t like. Everything is consistently good and that’s saying something. So many restaurants start out good and then the quality seems to slip after they get established. That has not been the case at MOM’s. The consistency extends to the owners and staff. They are always friendly and make you feel like a welcome guest.

Some items on the menu change seasonally. In the summer months my go to dinner is the Spinach Salad with strawberries, blue cheese, bacon Dijon vinaigrette with grilled shrimp on top. In the winter I switch to the Beet Salad. Hubby’s favorite is the Fried Chicken with bourbon sweet potato mash, and collard greens. Me thinks he is a good old boy at heart.

So if you are looking for a place to enjoy a good meal, nice people and great atmosphere, stop in at Maxwell’s on Main. You will be glad you did.
